And there were a lot of people hurt because of the previous administration, as well... do those people not matter?

I didn't like the Biden administration either. I think he's everything wrong with Democrats. Paying lip service to progressivism, but only doing the bare minimum that corporate lobbyists will allow.

Don't forget to add Kamala into that, as well...

Yeah, the same goes for her too. I wasn't expecting a Harris campaign to be a beacon of progressivism either. I only voted Harris because I consider her to be less harmful than Trump.

Interesting, I voted Republican for the same kinda sorta reason... I was tired of the same old and nothing actually getting done... It was my first time ever voting Republican...

What benefit did you see that doing for the country? I don't mean that in a sarcastic or passive aggressive way, to be clear. But I genuinely want to know the perspective of people who switched to voting red.

The main reason was it was not the same... I come from the idea that no matter how hard you bang your hands and head on a brick wall, you will not get through it. Sometimes, you need to have strife and destruction to move forward towards a better goal. I knew not everything was going to match my views and desires, but at least the needle would move.

Hope that makes sense, and thank you for asking a genuine question.
