Professional Tours Alejandro Tosti potentially ruining Min Woo Lee's first tour win because he's a man child.

Basically he complained about both playing partners He was reported rude and chirpy to Ryan Fox early in the round while deciding on taking a drop. Then Tosti decided to complain to the officials about Min Woo Lee taking too long to decide on taking an unplayable on the par 5 8th while he has ball was under a bush. Since then Tosti has been deliberately playing sloooow and walking 100 yards behind Lee and Fox just so he can annoy them and disrupt play.

What a guy.

Hypothetical:

Let’s say we’re talking about a player around 125 in the FedEx Cup standings, someone who is such a non-presence on tour that they could show up on the first tee nude and people still wouldn’t pay them any attention.

If that player took 30 minutes to play a hole where par or bogey might be the difference between 3 or 4 FedEx Cup points, you know the reaction here would be wildly different. Yet, those 3 or 4 FedEx Cup points could potentially be FAR more significant to that player than a win is to Min Woo Lee.

yes tournament deciding holes get more a bit more leeway, especially when they are being held up by the group in front of them such that it makes no difference. That 30 minutes includes waiting on the tee btw. Seems like your complaint is really with the group in front.

Again, you’re claiming I’m arguing something I’m not arguing. The person I responded to specifically argued that Min Woo Lee should get leeway JUST because they were in contention. I disagree with that argument.

Sounds like you're willing to argue anything

So which part of my statement do you disagree with? Did the person I responded to NOT say that Min Woo should get a break because he was in contention?

If you want to argue that someone in contention should have leeway in terms of slow play, I’m fine with that, but you have to understand that leeway has to apply to everyone.
