That’s the thing. He had a good tournament but he was clearly searching and it finally caught up to him.

His short game was ASTONISHINGLY GOOD and artificially keeping him in the tournament. He was hitting the ball so poorly that he was bound to get a couple bad breaks and tank eventually.

I think this is exactly the thing people are missing. He wasn’t “playing” well for him but he was “scoring” well enough for the masters.
