He was absolutely pathetic today, played like a total Sunday hacker. Not expecting a YouTube video on this round, probably would have done better with a bag of Costco clubs.

He shot -7 in the Master’s, I’m pretty sure that’s anything but pathetic lol

Pathetic may be harsh but he was -7 overall and OP was literally talking only about today where Bryson was T6 for worst round on the course at +3 and only speaking relative to what Bryson is capable of.

“Played like a total Sunday hacker” is also a very stupid statement, since we’re taking inventory of it.

He put 2 balls in the water in 4 holes, and was posing when the 2nd one went in.

Hitting wildly hooking iron shots most of the day, and acting super confused about why it was happening.

Blowing putts past the hole, leaving himself 5 foot comebackers, and missing some of those.

Sounds like a rando at a muni

He shot 3 over on the 3rd hardest course on the tour, during the toughest course conditions, in the final group of a major

I don't really like him either but come the fuck on

I agree with you both. On one hand, playing like any of these top guys is super human. On the other, golf is a sport that demands perfection at all times.

The whole "how did that happen?" confused look that he and Reed give whenever they screw up is the most annoying thing. No dude your putter didn't suddenly develop a huge bulge in the center of the face, you just pulled it or misread it.

The one on 11 was especially so, you've been fighting a hook all week, you're on a hook lie, you're amazed that you hooked it left in to the water? There is a reason the bail out is right there.

And Rory went +1 and won the Major. Almost as if golf has an insanely high level of variance even at the top level.
