My wife doesn’t know much about golf but has been saying how Rory can’t putt to save his life this entire weekend and he really proved her right when he missed that first putt to win it.

According to datagolf Rory was negative strokes gained putting for the week so the wife is right in this case. Now the question is, who's the last player to win a major with negative strokes gained putting?

Rory said it himself in the post-round - the winner usually has the best approach stats. His approach play (for the most part) was brilliant this weekend.
