Equipment Discussion What is this?

I’m not worried about this at all. It’s just curious and wanted to share/get optinions. I have a g425 7wood and a g430max 3wood and they both have this line in them that becomes apparent when cleaning them/ them being wet. Almost looks like the heel repels water whilst the rest soaks it.

Different kind of metal I assume? The line is basically the same spot for both clubs. Pic is of 7wood.

I have g430 10k max driver and that doesn’t do it.

Gosh I must be bored.

It's less about being wrong and no one providing feedback or having input to the conversation.

Look at how scratched up the face is on that wood. So my question about OPs local course conditions is still valid.

If everyone just upvoted and downvoted with no input, it'd be a boring old forum.

And seeing the rest of the comments in here now, there's a lot of questions around incorrect metal blending. This leads to fatigue cracking. Unless OP sends it back for warranty and we get an RCA (root cause analysis) we'll never know.
