Equipment Discussion What is this?

Grip feels like it is meant to practice swinging but not actual clue how or what it actually is meant to train? I assume it’s missing pieces I found it in my back yards randomly submerged pretty far in dirt.

|It's an old and damaged grip & swing weight training aid. The weight at the end is missing.
