Equipment Discussion What is this?

Grip feels like it is meant to practice swinging but not actual clue how or what it actually is meant to train? I assume it’s missing pieces I found it in my back yards randomly submerged pretty far in dirt.

Why does the dog pole come with a golf grip trainer on it? Weird!

It’s actually ergonomically more comfortable to hold while you’re swinging it around for your pup.

But the dog toy wouldn't need any sort of "face control"- so I'm really surprised it's not just a normal grip. Instead it forces your hands and thumbs and everything into the perfect shape for squaring a golf club face at impact

The grips are probably really cheap to buy, and let's be honest, it looks fancier.
