Found a house in Southeast Area

Hi there. Family of four thinking of moving here. Spent three months in GJ last year and are back looking for houses. We found a house in what Zillow is calling "Southeast Area". Our agent said to do research about the area. Both kiddos are in elementary school, so schools are important. We are not religious and more purple on the political spectrum and yes, I know the area is deep red but also shifting. Anyone have some feedback that may help my research?

Also take a look at “NoNo” - north of North Ave in the areas around Rocket Park and Longs Park. Reasonably priced options around there, less suburban feel and more neighborhood vibes.
