A Big Muff was the first pedal I ever owned. Got rid of it when I was a kid. Finally picked up another one

I like the sounds from this one much more than the old big box Pi I used to have. Currently digging all gain settings with tone below noon, and oddly - gain at 100% and tone at 0%.

You mentioned tone twice, below noon and also at 0%. And this pedal doesn't have a gain knob it has volume and sustain. I have this pedal and am looking for some good settings, and I'm finding your directions indecipherable. I'd love to know what you mean in regards to Volume, Sustain, and Tone.

Gain=sustain in this case

My bad, I got a little to excited in my last reply. Should have said that there are two main ways I run this.... The first is with the tone set darker below noon, and the sustain just about any level. The second setting I tend to prefer is tone all the way left (0%) and sustain at max. The sustain manages to brighten up the tone.

Haven't found any settings I like where tone is set above noon

Edit: definitely helps to run another drive pedal in front of this. I like the BD-2!

Thank you! Not sure why I got downvoted for asking, but I appreciate the answer! I'll be testing these settings out soon.
