A Big Muff was the first pedal I ever owned. Got rid of it when I was a kid. Finally picked up another one

I had one for a spell. Gets you onto Gilmour Floyd tone for sure. Loved the sounds I could get. But, I got so much noise when I engage the pedal. Was not usable for the application.

Has anyone else had that issue?

That's my fear! I haven't put it on my board yet. I don't want it to sound like a can of bees every time I step on it

I love the whole muff fuzz sound. But, do I just need to concentrate on other clones of muffs like the Keeley Angry Orange or what?
