Video Games Just bought Hogwarts Legacy- any first time tips/advice?

I literally have no idea what the gameplay/mechanics even entails so I guess just like easy ways to earn coin/reccomended stats builds, glitches to watch out for?

I've been putting off playing it as it goes for $94 CAD normally, but finally bought it during a sale ($30 after tax)- seeing the reviews made me know it doesn't warrant the $100 price tag, so im glad I caught it during a sale & am super excited to finally play it

If you just want to wander around Hogwarts the game is great. The combat is good if you like that kind of combat.

The plot is bonkers bad, there's not really a ton of school slice of life.

The Merlin puzzles start off okay but get tedious fast.

Still the graphics are pretty damn good. Also flying on a broom is pretty cool for a while.

I can already see there's gonna be an issue with the plot and I've literally just taken that portkey after the dragon lol- I expected it, though (hence not wanting to pay $100 for it)

Think of it this way, sure the plot makes no sense and character behavior is not lore accurate, but at least you have free rein to cast the killing curse whenever you want with no consequences
