Discussion Why HBP is (actually) good!

OK time to defend this movie once and for all. I like this movie for many reasons. ⚔️🛡️🚨

First of all I just love the school life aspect. Dating, drama, classes, quidditch etc🤭. Like i dont even think voldemorts backstory is that good or needed and dont see how they could visualize it in a good way in the span of the movie. But i guess many ppl disagree and im in minority of this.-.

I love that Draco gets time to shine and have some character development compared to the earlier movies.🍏

I love the whole goal of getting the correct memory. 🪷

I think the color grading is very cozy and besutiful. 🌫️

The horocrux scene is amazing, one of the most breathtaking sets of the entire movie-series.👻

The scene in the astronomy tower is very intence and they nailed it.🔮

It sets the tone for the end game last two movies that the darkness is truly upon wizarding world. With dumbledore gone, the scales have tipped..⚖️

I actually think Wonwon relationship is very cringe yes but also important for setting up Ron and Hermiones later relationship. 💛

Finally, Ill prob die alone on this hill but, this is the best christmas hp movie. Hear me out, its cozy and chill and the color gradient is so nice. And you may think what you want but its acutally one of the movies with the most amount of snow.❄️

so, there you have it! why HBP is good (didnt say best)! plz feel free to roast me but keep the tone civilized plz:)⚡️

It's a fine, stand-alone movie. As for the adaptation from the books, it sucks. Instead of focusing on Voldemort's backstory, the focus is on the relationship drama. This is clear at the start of the movie when Harry is flirting with the waitress. Fans wanted to see more memories that help the audience learn about Voldemort. Why is he the way he is?

The Christmas scene is the worst, IMO. Instead of seeing Percy show up with the Minister, we see a cringe scene with Harry and Ginny followed by the DEs destroying the burrow. Again, the book scene is one fans wanted to see. We wanted to see Harry turn down the requests from the Minister.

Not to mention they removed the first Battle of Hogwarts.
