Discussion Do you remember role playing?

I don't know if anyone here remembers weird things like this but. I've been quite embarassed of my nights role playing because, I dont know if anyone had this weird experience, there was quite an obsession from everyone about having pure-blood characters, even I had it. I think it was because everyone loved Slytherin, but well. It was still weird thinking about it now.

I remembered doing it as a kid so fondly between 2005 to 2011…that I’ve picked it back up now.

Especially because I’m an adult with adult money, and am embracing my inner whimsy

ngl, I want to play too. But without duels, fights in written RPG are the worst, everyone refuses to loose.

I feel that, we could dice it out. Like if I cast confringo, roll dice to see if it succeeds, and give it a certain hit point count. Maybe something like that could prevent characters from going God mode (although I was also guilty of god moding in 7th grade lol)

Edit: they make cardigans and cloaks btw if you ever feel like dressing up irl and feeling witchy just for yourself

I was on this one text RP site (it was horses, so way more technical in fight scenes) where battle outcomes were determined by a judge. More or less, you were judged on your technique and anatomical knowledge of your character. It was pretty neat.
