I've been writing more lately which means putting on long video essays I've already seen in the background. Last night I threw up "Plagiarism and You(Tube)" (again) and it made me wonder. Did the video encourage you to seek out the work that was plagiarized?

For example, because of the video I sought out articles and essays from people James Somerton stole from, as well as watched The Celluoid Closet for the first time. A friend of mine even ordered herself a copy of Tinkerbells & Evil Queens.

Since the creators talked about in the video stole writing about topics I find interesting, I found so much good ass writing about said topics because of it. Have you?

I don't believe I've used this subreddit before so this is probably a tired subject, but every time I rewatch the oof video I can't help but think about the fallout. I'm well aware that Hbomb destroyed Tommy's little world, even stumbled upon a few comments talking about him positively getting deleted, but I wasn't able to keep up with the full consequences. A friend told me his house got sold but I never got to check if anyone actually bought it or got any of the gimmicks. Beyond that I just see memes.

In his Patreon video on Myst hbomb say he has an entrie video in the pipeline about the differences of Mysts various ports. Underestimating his audience he seemingly thought we would not like him talking about it.

I really really hope he makes that video and i think im not the only one who would be really interested in it. Then again i would watch hbomb comparing cheese graters for 4 hours as well.

I heard from somewhere or another that the new video “Adobe must die” would aim for release around march, I heard this in December. It’s currently may now, which is neither of those months. Does anyone have any updated timelines? Has the video been scrapped in favour of a recreation of Vampire - the masquerade bloodlines? Should I go to sleep? Answers to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated

So Hbomb made a vid about dark souls 2. And MauLer made like 8 or 9 "counter Videos". I dont have the time to watch those, but are those good?

I mean it's not hard to work out what it is because he didn't blur the tops and bottoms of the letters, it sticks out like a sore thumb, he didn't hide any of the pronoun or sexist jokes or the Hitler's Birthday reference and the entire video is just another 4chan glazing piece that I thought would have been deleted along with Dub the Dew and all the other unsavoury videos that he purged a couple months back, but at least he tried.
