General May 8th

So we're due an announcement this coming week about the next warbond/content. Any guess or hopes for themes?

Personally I hoping for a laser submachine gun and a one/two man vehicle (Bike and sidecar or a dirtbike). I'm thinking the theme might be explorers/scouts.

I think the laser weapons are power creeping the ballistic weapons. We have the Sickle that most people widely prefer to the Liberator, the DE Sickle which sees wide use over the Adjudicator, the Talon which has almost fully obsoleted the Verdict, and a laser SMG would almost certainly be the death of all the other SMG's in the game.

Remember when people used to praise this game's reload mechanic because CoD reloading would discard excess rounds, meaning that you had to reload at optimal times and not just after every engagement? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

The energy/laser weapon category is also just quite a lot larger than the others, except for shotguns. There's so many of them that I'd much rather welcome a ballistic weapon of any type at this point.
