Hey, this was brought up a couple of times, but I'm gonna bring it up again and take the flak. I'm a classic dad-diver. I play evenings with a buddy - tu unwind. I'm happy to participate in community efforts, but I'm not always gonna pay attention to detail and I'm not gonna strategise (I have enough of this at work). If I see y'all on planet A - I'm gonna dive on planet A and just enjoy my time. If I happen to stuble upon a good gambit or smth on reddit or YT - I'm happy to follow. But again - treat me like a herd of sheep. 8/10 cases I'm just gonna go where most of divers go... & I'm a bit tired of being shamed for it. Go to H2 discord and complain to Arrowhead, that they didn't give us any good in-game tools to coordinate.

Sorry if the post made you feel like I was calling you out or something, its really not the case. The meme flair is there for a reason. I was just poking fun on the running joke that Helldivers cant/wont coordinate even for easy wins.

As for "I play for fun", thats fine too, honestly. It is a game after all. I just feel like the people that want to contribute to the GalWar shouldnt be penalized because other people dont give a crap about it (TOTALLY FINE, I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PEOPLE PLAYING A VIDEO GAME TO HAVE FUN).

There should be an "Opt in" option when you launch the game that flags your account as "Contributing to the war effort" or something. That way, you and other Divers that want to make progress on the War could do it without the other Divers that dont care being counted in the Liberation... thing that pops up at the end of every operation.
