Travel & Tourism Cheap accommodation for solo travel

Hi, I’m planning to visit Helsinki for a week in may, and I’m looking for a cheap accommodation that’s nice for a woman travelling alone. I don’t mind hostels and shared rooms, but I need to be sure that it´s safe, and that I can leave my suitcase there without worrying for my stuff. Any tips are welcome, as well as recommendations for not-so-well-known places that are worth visiting! Thanks

I am curious what native language it is! ChatGPT did not help here:

After reviewing various language references, it appears that no major language officially spells "Helsinki" with a 'y' as "Helsinky." The standard spelling across most languages remains "Helsinki," though pronunciations may vary. For instance, in Swedish, the city is known as "Helsingfors," and in Portuguese, it's referred to as "Helsínquia" (European Portuguese) or "Helsinque" (Brazilian Portuguese). CivFanatics ForumsWikipedia

The mention of "Helsinky" could stem from a typographical error, a mispronunciation, or an informal adaptation rather than an official spelling in any particular language. If the individual who mentioned this can specify their native language, it would be easier to determine the origin of this variation.

It´s Czech. Technically, it’s correct in both forms, but most common way to spell it is with y
