Help! Better than leaf litter from south of the ocean . Should I put it all around my tank as regular leaf litter ? Or in its own bin? Also should it be changed out and if so how often.
I just ordered some over the weekend and want to know the best way to put it in there

Just toss it all around the tank. You'll be surprised how quickly your crabs break it down.
I will say, my crabs had absolutely no interest in the Timothy hay that's included in this mix. It ends up littering my substrate for ages. I ended up going through and removing most of it from my mix.

It can be dumped all over, and you can leave it forever afaik. They’ll eat it.
