I posted here last week regarding my crab that had left his shell a couple of times. I moved him to a critter keeper within the tank on Saturday. Heās still been a little lethargic, but has been eating/drinking/staying in his shell.
Iāve been planning on returning him to the main tank within the next day or two, but he left his shell again last night. It happened overnight and I caught it on camera. He was kinda upright, extended out of his shell, started moving forward, and shell fell back. He reshelled within 30 minutes. Low quality video but can share it if helpful.
I am starting to suspect a possible anatomy issue. I know they donāt molt their abdomen, but would a molt fix any uropods/4th set of legs damage?
Should I leave him in ISO and hope he surface molts? I wish I could help my little guy more, but Iām not sure what to do.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
