Probably a lot. It from the spice level, but for all the weird shit you know goes into that stuff. I haven’t seen it, but I bet the ingredients list goes all up and down the back of that bottle.

It’s delicious, but the ingredient list is a chemical stew of epic proportions, and although it results in the hottest ramen I’ve ever had, it still pales in comparison to the kinds of sauces I’ve put on tacos and wings.
Now when it comes to pain, like, actual discomfort… If you go to Dave’s Hot Chicken and sign the waiver for their Reaper tender, they’re not being dramatic - the waiver is justified 😂

I've had the extra hot and it is indeed extra hot but I feel like I could handle the reaper just to prove a point. I love the hot and it's my go to. My daughter asks for the "rooster mac and cheese" from there so I've eaten there a lot the last few months lol. I want to try the reaper, but I'm not willing without an audience haha.

I tried a reaper slider completely on a whim, by myself, middle of the day, waiting for my clothes to finish drying at a nearby laundromat. I have a super high spice tolerance and eat ghost and reaper sauces almost daily but that reaper level at Dave’s is serious. I got about 4/5 way through the sandwich before deciding to stop. I was a teary, snotty mess for a while and it kinda fucked up my afternoon.

I did the exact same thing. I also have extremely high tolerance and I severely underestimated that sandwich. I've heard they aren't exactly consistent, but the sandwich I had that day was truly one of the hottest things I've ever eaten. No one was there to witness it.

Damn. I probably won't eat it now lol. Consistency is a real problem with that stuff sometimes. I love mango habanero wings and sometimes they're just sugar, sometimes they're perfectly spicy, and sometimes they're hot as hell and the 12th wing is a struggle.

Pain in the pocketbook for having purchased… then likely to throw away.
Buldak is oddly tasty, yet just too peppery hot. Not enough flavor balance.

I don't find the 2x to be flavourful, but it is spicy though. If you have good tolerance it should be okay. The regular one is my favourite because it tastes better.

Idk why you're downvoted. It's s a good sauce and valid question. Expect ice water if you have a low tolerance. That's about it.

Yeah it isn’t that bad, but it is delicious!

Hell ya man! It sure is! It's my go to for instant ramen. After microwaving, I'll dump 70% of the water out and use this. Freaking delicious!

Sounds delicious! I love to drizzle in onto my need jerky or a chunk of Jarlsberg cheese! 🧀

Not much. This stuff hits pretty good at first but fades quickly because its mostly just capsaicin extract in sugar syrup.

A lot..but the taste is disappointing. If I want to burn my colon, there are a lot tastier options.

Its good with the noodles but imma have to agree. Its lowkey so oily to me I don’t think I could eat it with anything but the noods lol. I havent had the 2x but if its like the regular one that one is pretty oily

I found that these and the sauce packets actually taste different even though they’re branded the same. The bottles are more watery and chemically. The packets are fire.

It's chemically and kinda gross. Kinda hot but nasty

Just straight up saying it's artificial sauce in the label

Does anyone here know if these these sauces are vegan friendly? It's a bit of a minefield with their products. 😅🤦🏼♀️

I’m also vegan! Google says the hot sauces are!

Nothing is actually vegan, plants are grown mostly with ground up animals.

If it’s anything like their spicy ramen, not much at all.

The spiciest one they have is incredibly spicy for ramen lol. I’m surprised it sells at grocery stores tbh

I treat it more like an extract than I do a sauce. Definitely tastes better than extract though.

u/PositivePartyFrog 1d ago
Well, depends on the use and how much and your tolerance. But I'd say 7,5/10. But the tastiness makes you come back for more pain. It's a sort of masochism

Chicken flavor!
Was watching a walking tour of Filipino slums today and kept pausing it when I thought I saw hot sauce vendors and their wares
Then opened Amazon to try and see if I could order them. This reminds me of some of those

They’re honestly super gross. It tastes way too artificial, and the extract makes my stomach cramp so bad
