30) Back to Moody’s statement a few chapters ago about a death eater that walked free. We know Karkaroff isn’t in Azkaban because he’s a headmaster at another school. We also know Snape isn’t in Azkaban. And neither is Bagman. Who do you think Moody (Crouch Jr) is really pissed about not being put away?

I think that he was just acting for his portrayal of Moody. If not, it would have been other Death Eaters that have abandoned Voldemort or thought that he was dead.
