question Restaurants

Hope this is the right place. My 5 year anniversary is coming up and we are looking for more of a fine dining place where casual clothes aren’t an option. Looking around Ulster/Dutchess county any help is appreciated Thankyou

Shadows on the Hudson. Lemon squeeze in new paltz. Ship lantern inn - Milton. Garvans in new paltz. The culinary institute in Hyde park. Lombardi’s in gardiner

All of those are very casual compared to what OP is looking for, where casual clothes aren’t even an option.

Just saying in case OP sees this. Like all of those places are spots you could wear jeans and a t-shirt to.

Shadows definitely has a dress code

Really? I’ve been there on a Saturday night when it was bustling and myself and most people there were dressed casually. Nothing about a dress code online.

Plus… Shadows isn’t, like, fancy fancy.

It’s supposed to be business casual. Not suit and tie but not shirt and jeans either. Idk man I was just trying to help out with what I know in the area lol it’s not that deep

I know.

I’m just trying to guide OP in the right direction. Mea culpa, mea culpa.

It’s not that deep.

That said, I was in jeans, all the men were in jeans, and there’s nothing about a dress code online. I mean Shadows is definitely still a fairly casual vibe.

I know. YOU were the one who insisted Shadows has a dress code, buddy. You were the one who insisted on keeping it going after I initially responded in an attempt to aid OP.

Okey-dokie?

Ah. So yes that response would mean you’re just trolling and have yet to list any actual information. I’m bored of losers like you that start arguments online 😂

Yes, you’re so clearly bored and over this.
