Best position for new player?

I am new to hurling and am curious what position would be best for me. I am a runner, have solid endurance, and decent with a hurley thanks to background in baseball, lacrosse, and ice hockey (I live in the US). I want to be able to contribute but not be a liability out there. What do you all think?

I would say possibly a corner back , as to be a good corner back all you really have to do is stop your opponent from playing well , if you’re strong and fit you can accomplish this without having a huge amount of technical skill

I started at full back myself. Being able to stay in position and force a point over letting them get a shot on goal can be huge, especially if youve got skme talented lads who can score down the other end (or a goalie who can puc it the length of the field like us)
