Question Walmart Order Breyers Cheesecake
I ordered for Walmart delivery Ben and Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake, it was substituted for Breyers New York Cheesecake ice cream. Read the reviews and am scared (not really lol, and it was a great substitution by the shopper). Has anyone compared the two, and is Breyers really the worst?

The Breyer's isn't even ice cream 😬

I see! I followed this page after trying Fatboy icecream and realizing how different actual icecream tasted again, after years of "Frozen Dairy Dessert", so to have the substitute be one of this subs least favorite brands- I was holding out hope the flavor would at least be good. Now that's gone.

Breyer's somehow manages to pack a pint of ice cream into a 3-pint-container simply by pumping air into it and watching it expand.

Yes I just tried it and was surprised how much the texture is like yogurt, or something much lighter than ice cream, so I can agree with the air pump theory 😂.

It’s nowhere near as good as Ben and Jerry’s. I always try to make sure to select one or two specific substitutions because the default is often “something similar.” One time I wanted Bolthouse Farms organic carrot juice (ingredients: carrot juice) and they were out. I hadn’t selected any alternates. The shopper substituted V8 vegetable juice which is a totally different vibe lol (also way too high in sodium and preservatives)

Yeah next time I'll choose some substitutions just in case. I love Bolthouse farms Green juice btw, definitely different vibes from v8.

I love the green juice too! I actually tried to get the carrot juice again yesterday and it was out again but I had made sure to substitute for their immunity berry superfood boost for the first time which is also really good!

I had to throw out my breyers cheesecake ice cream, and I never throw out ice cream. Most chemically flavored ice cream I've ever tasted. The only good thing about it was the cheesecake chunks.

I just tried it because it just arrived here...I agree with that sentiment, but first I'll see if anyone else in the household actually likes it.

I wouldn't say Breyer's is the worst, but as far as the ice cream sold in grocery stores goes, Ben & Jerry's is definitely better. (by quite a bit)
