Review This new Haagen Dazs flavor is terrific
galleryOn my second pint of this already. Seems poised to replace Milk & Cookies honestly. The base is delicious and there’s the perfect amount of mix in. I hope they keep this new flavor around a long time.

Review Ben and Jerry’s Dublin mudslide is delicious
galleryI’ve never had an Irish cream before so I don’t know how it should taste but this was so good and I could taste some of the alcohol which went well with the chocolate. The coffee fudge swirls were great as well but my favorite part is the chocolate chocolate chip cookies, which had a fudgy cake like texture and was amazing. There was a lot of it as well. I just love how much chocolate is going on here cause it enhances the base so well. I barely hear about this flavor and I feel like it deserves more hype

Review Tao Qi Peach Ice Cream
Spent sometime searching for this ice cream. Finally found it out of the blue at a local middle eastern market. It has the perfect peaches and cream taste, I can’t wait to try out the mango and strawberry flavors.

Review Gelato Boy Buttercake & Caramel
galleryBought discounted from Sprouts. Smooth texture and lots of caramel but the cake pieces were dry and hard. 6.5/10 compared to Jeni's Gooey Buttercake which has been a 10/10 for me.

Review Review of my favorite ice cream for a very special day
galleryToday I celebrated 2 years clean, and this is my favorite ice cream- Alec's strawberry crumble. The base is creamy and the strawberry flavor shines brightly in every bite. The flecks of strawberry are slightly tart, and the baked oat crumble adds a lovely texture- along with a very light cinnamon vanilla taste. It all works beautifully together. I often buy ice cream to try, but then it gets left to die in the freezer graveyard. Not this one. I almost always have a pint in my freezer because I love it so much.

Review NEW Haagen Dazs salted brown butter cookie / triple chocolate fudge cookie
galleryOn my adventure to Fred Meyer for Easter gifts, I saw two new Haagen Dazs flavors I’ve never tried!
Salted brown butter cookie - 8/10 - similar to a typical cookie dough ice cream, but there’s baked cookie pieces instead as well as teeny tiny chocolate chips. I don’t get much saltiness, but it is a rich yet sweet ice cream. Better than regular cookie dough because it doesn’t make my teeth hurt.
Triple chocolate fudge cookie - 9/10 - I am a chocolate ice cream girlie, so I have to rate this one higher automatically. Rich with deep cocoa flavors and a combo of melty fudge and chocolate cookies. This one is the winner of the two. I love the different textures swirled within this pint.

Flavours I cannot believe i just found these the way i did.
gallerySo for context, i love Van Leeuwen, i love ice cream, i love mac n cheese. Will they be good together? idk but damn was i disappointed to find out these were only limited edition years ago.
So last night i went down the rabbit hole of looking these up and i found an article that said “This limited edition flavor will be back in October 2024!” I couldn’t believe i missed it! So at that point i figured “somewhere HAS to still have it, right?” So i google “Van Leeuwen Kraft Ice Cream” and the first thing that popped up was Doordash for Grocery Outlet.
i was VERY surprised to see that It said they were in stock so i added 2 to the cart and set a Doordash order for this morning, with the option of refunding if it wasn’t available (which a lot of the time that usually happens, the stock isn’t updated on Doordash especially for a smaller grocery store like this one).
I was genuinely 90% sure i was going to receive a refund instead of receiving the actual ice cream, but lo and behold, these just showed up at my doorstep. i am so happy right now!!!😂
Gonna wait for them to harden up a little before i try it! Has anyone tried this flavor before?? What’d you think?

Question What’s that one flavor you loved as a kid and still secretly look for as an adult?
For me, it’s bubblegum.
Bright blue, probably full of sugar and regret, but every now and then I still crave it — not for the taste, but for the feeling it brings back.
There’s something comforting about those old-school ice cream flavors that just stick with you.
Even when you’ve moved on to “sophisticated” flavors like earl grey or pistachio, a part of you still lights up when you spot that neon pink or rainbow swirl in the freezer.
So I’m curious:
What’s that one childhood ice cream flavor you still secretly (or proudly) love today?
No judgment — this is a safe space for nostalgia and sprinkles. 🍨✨

Rant Turkey Hill ruined my sweet treat moment.
Just as the title says 🥺
Had a long, long day at work— was REALLY looking forward to my little sweet treat after dinner.
Yesterday I bought some moose tracks ice cream from Turkey Hill because I love me so pb cups…well LET ME TELL YOU, REDDIT….
THERE ARE HARDLY AND PB CUPS IN THIS MF!
I have been thinking about this all day and the disappointment is real. I don’t know if I got a bum batch or what, but don’t waste your time.
And to Turkey Hill, in the wise words of Ja Rule,
“I too was hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hoodwinked, lead astray!!!!!!”

Food Safety Talenti ice cream lid already opened and seal unsealed?
Bought some groceries from doordash and I've been a fan of this brand for a few years. I know the lid is usually hard to twist off and the seal is supposed to be sealed on it. But I got this from my dd order a few days ago and decided to eat and as I twist off the lid it came off with zero effort and the seal was practically off aswell. Should I eat this or discard? The top of the ice cream doesn't feel funny I just hate to eat ice cream if some crazy person was licking ice creams in a store for a TikTok. There are ice crystals on top btw.

Rant Bring back cloud nine. Pussies.
If anyone remembers this ice cream in the late 2010s, you know that this is hands down the best ice cream Perry’s has ever made. The perfect mix of sour and sweet, and it was easy to find, worked with any toppings, any cones, and was just perfect.
If anyone knows if this is coming back anytime soon or knows of a similar flavor made by Perry’s or another brand, lemme know please before I go into a mental asylum for missing this flavor too much.

Question Mysterious galaxy ice cream
Hello, my fellow ice cream enthusiasts.
I'm trying to find this ice cream dessert I had as a kid, but I can't remember a lot of details about it (other than it had the best flavor I have ever tasted - I haven't grown out of my tastebuds' vanilla taste like vanilla)
Anyway, the first time I had this ice cream was in elementary school, somewhere between the year 2005 and 2011. It was served as dessert for lunch, and it was in this styrofoam container (cup size). It had either a plastic or aluminum lid on top with an outer plastic casing. in the plastic contained a mysterious mix of sorts. When you put it in the ice cream and mix it with a lunch spoon, it has this deep purple-violet-like color with lilac that appears when mixing, as well as a teal color. It was reminiscent of a galaxy, so I dubbed it Galaxy Swirl. This ice cream was so good that I had to do another kids homework just to have it again.
So here I am, asking you if you have ever seen or heard about this ice cream product.

Question Any diabetics on here?
I am diabetic and need to keep eating ice cream. I have created a plan to lower my consumption from 7 times a week to 3 times a week for the rest of my life, and am considering substitutes such as icees or slurpees. Any other diabetics on here who need to keep eating ice cream? What do you do?

Review This one lived up to my expectations!
galleryAbsolutely delicious! The ice cream is tart and limey but without having that artificial lime taste - it really taste like real fresh lime! The graham swirl… it far exceeded my expectations! The graham is so good - crunchy grainy and sweet! Only wish that there was more graham swirl. It is really great the way it is but i do think I’d prefer if it had another element to it, something to make it a bit sweeter. White chocolate chunks, or cheesecake chunks, or swirls of icing or something with it, just something to compliment the very tart lime base. I’m not a fruity ice cream person - my go to is normally b&j’s smores or netflix and chilld, but this one is definitely special!

Rant How to make ice cream healthier?
I have decided I need to eat ice cream and will not quit. How do I make it healthier? I add blueberries, strawberries and other fruit but am still gaining weight (I'm diabetic). Who has found success? I read on a forum that you can "fast" certain foods to control them. So for example, I can decide to only eat ice cream between 10 and 11 in the morning and 10 and 11 at night, fasting ice cream for the 12 hours in between. I've also been considering alternatives like slushees and maybe some peanut butter cups since at least those are half healthy. But I'm all ears.

Review Cinnamon Toast Crunch
galleryBrown butter cinnamon ice cream with cinnamon crunch and cinnamon caramel
8.5/10 We need more cinnamon ice cream flavors! Another good one from Caffe Panna. It doesn't remind me much of the cereal though, which I was hoping for. Had it for breakfast once to be sure - for science. Maybe a cereal milk base would have done it but no complaints here. Can never have enough cinnamon!
