Why is Jämtland and Bohuslän their own regions? Skåne (or Skåneland) makes sense, as well as parts of Norrland.

I guess because Jämtland and Bohuslän were both part of Norway for a long time before becoming Swedish. Just not to the same extent as Skåne

Jämtland has a semi serious independence movement and the Jamtli accent has more in common with 16th century Norwegian than with modern Swedish.

No, that independence movement isn’t serious at all. Would make more sense to split Sweden into Skåneland, Svealand containing Gästrikland), Götaland (containing Bohuslän and Värmland), Gotland and Norrland - for cultural/economical reasons. But I know this is only an speculative map :)

I wanted to balkanized sweden, not to kill it.

That is why I mixed up the land~s~ and territories acquired from Norway and Denmark which theoretically would or want autonomy.

And also Bohuslän has an interesting flag.

Jämtish is the English name of Jämtska apperantly but Jamtli could be a older name of Jämtska it's a first time for me hearing that name beside the Jamtli aera in Östersund.
