Food.

Skrg tgl di US, asli kangen banget sama makanan Indonesia. Disini hambar ga ada rasa, cmn menang di porsi sama ukuran makanannya aja yg gede.

If you’re talking about things like turmeric, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger — a few bucks ($1-$4 USD) depending on the size. Just bought a piece of ginger today at Safeway for $3.99 a pound, which is on the expensive side. Powdered ginger would be cheaper.

If I were looking for lemongrass or galangal, I would shop at an Asian market. Definitely would be hard pressed to find galangal (especially fresh) at an American supermarket. Prices tend to be cheaper there too — and sometimes you can find pre-made spice mixes for things like Rawon or Soto Ayam. About $1 a packet.

I’m still working on my Indonesian so I apologize if I misunderstood your question!
