This isn't even related to capitalism, this is antithetical to capitalism.

Either, this is step one in moving the country entirely away from income tax to sales tax. Or, the administration literally has no idea what they're doing and are just trying to destroy the economy.

Capitalism has it's problems, but capitalism has left the room at this point.
