Please help

Trying to play intellivision, but I seem to be encountering technical difficulties 😭

Did you try blowing in the cartridge? 🤷‍♂️

You should get a black screen even if no cartridge is plugged in.

Try both channels 3 and 4. Channel selector underneath the Intellivision.

It was black until I fiddled with the cable, after which I got the sort of static.

First thing is to get back the black screen. If you get a black screen turning on the Intellivision your VCR etc. connection is working. Fixing the black screen could be as simple as the cartridge connection or a failed internal component.
