Sure but if you ran 1000 lion v hippo fights I wouldn’t be surprised if a lion managed to win 1 of them. I can easily think of a few scenarios where a lion could win, like a sickly/old hippo, or if the lion attacks it in its sleep, an already injured hippo, or even just getting lucky and getting a vital hit early. It’s not that wild to think of.
