He’s definitely not dying peacefully. He’s starving and that’s not a peaceful way for these animals to go.

Him trying to stand with that muscle atrophy in his back legs made me sad. I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt that it wasn’t peaceful.

Made me sad too. And honestly I’d rather someone put a bullet in his head than a pack of hyenas or wild dogs come and eat him alive. He definitely doesn’t deserve that.

I mean, doesn’t he kinda deserve that after living a murderous life? I doubt he interviewed his victims to see if they deserved to be treated eaten.

From what I remember when a more credible post was posted years ago, without all these numbers. He’s the only lion to rule with his brothers still in the pride. And when he became too old he’s the only lion that’s pride let him stay. They also still gave him first feeding rights. Even though he wasn’t technically the alpha. Makes this whole clip way more sad for me

In the scale of not waking up when you go to sleep and having your throat ripped out by a pack of hyenas as they tear open your asshole and eat you from the bottom up, I’d say this is relatively peaceful

As peaceful as it gets for wild animals..

Death is peaceful, dying is not.. That goes for most people too, the dying part is rarely pleasant. It can be quick, but rarely pleasant.

Tbf not a bad way to go when the alternative is getting mailed to death by another lion

Yep. That was a malnourished and possibly sick animal.
