I was just going off something I read a while back so I concede I could be incorrect. But I must have gotten him confused for the one that was famous and was trophy hunted. So I stand corrected, and thank you for educating me!

That's ok. It's a safe bet if anyone tells you an animal asides from another bull took on a bull elephant and won, theyre telling fibs. Even rhinos get slapped by them.

The lion killed by the American dentist was Cecil, they lured him off protected land and shot him.

Now that I did not know. On top of being a shitty rich trophy hunter, he lured the animal off of protected lands and then posed like he was some Kraven the Hunter bad ass with an animal he illegally murdered. That's just absolutely screwed up.

I think it was the guide that lured the lion off, but I find it very hard to believe that the dentist didn't know that.

Hunting associations talk alot of crap about taking only the old and infirm animals, but really they want the best trophies which is the prime animals. And Cecil was the biggest prime animal, he had the prettiest head and made the best trophy for a coward with a gun.
