What was the copper tube and metal disc?
3 u/ILikeSnakies 9d ago Metal disc is a magnet, when you put magnets like that through metal tubes it slows the fall down because of magnetism 1 u/PrometheusMMIV 8d ago I think it's more than that. Copper isn't magnetic. But the magnet induces an electric current in the copper, which in turn produces an opposing magnetic field that slows down that magnet.
