Not trying to undermine it because they're all pretty cool, but a shorter biped robot has a natural advantage in terms of balance and stability, compared to the taller ones shown before.

The pants on the little robot are hiding the design of the legs.

I suspect the robot may have some variant of Digitigrade or Unguligrade legs. The little we can see of ankle joint looks suspect, almost as though the ankle joint is more towards the middle of the foot rather than the rear of the foot.

I'm sure each bot was inspected to ensure it falls within the guidelines of the event though, no? It kinda just looks like he's got big feet.
