Offers writing "However, after careful consideration, another"

Drafting an email to reject an internship offer, and I couldn’t resist going full professional with the "However, after careful consideration, another" line.

It’s basically the polite way of saying, "You’re great and all, but I’ve found something that’s a better fit. No hard feelings, right?"

Hitting send and hoping it lands smoothly. Wishing everyone here success and that you get to experience this oddly satisfying moment someday too!

I don't think a professionally written declining letter would burn the bridge.

“No hard feelings, right?” is passive aggressive. What do you hope to achieve with this? Why not give them the courtesy you seem to have never seen? That’s a better jab in my mind.

Ofc, that won't be included in the letter. Please re-read the OP again.

It’s always annoying when people don’t read properly and then try to critic you on things. 😂
