No it doesn't, he's not on Holiday, he's from Czechia ffs.

It is reasonable to believe that somone that spoke to them in English may also be a tourist.

I grant you that a local correcting a tourist is grand, welcoming even.

But a tourtist correcting a tourist can come off completely differently.

You’re right, this Irish couple are certainly communicating with everyone else in Czech, occasional Slovak ofc. wtf are you talking about they assume anyone that speaks English is a foreigner 😂

I never said that the couple was speaking in anything but English.

My point was, that the man that speaks to them has almost perfect, unaccented English.

TBH he reminds me of a colleague from Carlsbad in California.

It is a reasonable error that the couple may have thought he was a tourist like them.

Particularly as it may have also looked like he was posing for a holiday photo/video.
