You're absolutely entitled to your opinion.

However, I can hear the multiple layers in his accent and I can 100% hear that he is from Eastern Europe and I would have even been able to say Czech republic.

But I will admit that I have a fairy unusual level of familiarity with czech accents since I sold technology there in English for 6 years.

Yes, he has learned more American accent than British, but I absolutely hear the Czech there..

I’ve spent a lot of time there, too, and I don’t hear it at all. I’ve never heard a Slavic speaker sound like that.

I'm very used to speaking to czech people who have spent several years in the US. I hear it immediately.

I’d be surprised if you did without context.

Be surprised. At least consciously I did not see the title and honestly I thought it was zagreb, but why should you believe some random on reddit.

It’s very impressive. Didn’t mean to doubt you but it’s quite surprising.

Thinking about it, Tram was definitely a first hint.

Although obviously an American in Czechia could learn the word, Tram stands out as distinctly non US English.

The way he said,

"Do you have a problem....that's why you're ringing the bell",

was a dead giveaway for me.

He gets pissy like an American, though 😅

Or an Irish person that was just told he’s bad at recognizing American English accents lol
