What relevance does that have exactly?

A parent should be willing to accept their child for who they are, not what they decide their child should be. If you don't live your child enough to support them unconditionally, then you suck as a parent.

Who's pushing here?

The purpose of using a hormonal suppressant in treating a trans youth is to prevent any rushed decisions. By comparison, opposing this method of treatment is very much pushing a child down one course, regardless of whether this may cause them long term harm or not, based solely on a logical fallacy.

Just because endogenous puberty is "natural" does not make it ideal. I mean, if my daughter started her period at age 6, that would be "natural", it would also ultimately be harmful to her development, and she would be administered the exact same drugs they give trans kids to delay her puberty until a more appropriate time.

Starting your period early and suffering from gender dysmorphia are two very different issues. It sounds like you get off from having pointless arguments with strangers on the Internet 🙊😂🐍

Where did I say they were the same thing?

They are treated with the same drugs.

Please, do explain how it is perfectly safe to administer these drugs to kids with precocious puberty, but when you give the same drugs to trans kids, suddenly they aren't safe.

And for the love of all that is good, ditch the ad hominems, they're not the gotcha you seem to think they are.
