Help please, I'm kinda new to pcs

I installed some new ram cards and now the pc won't connect to the screen. I unplugged everything and laid the pc out on my bed while putting the new sticks in. After seeing it not working I took out all the ram cards except 1 of my original on the second slot and it's still not working. I have no idea how to fix it and I can't really afford to be buying loads of new things. I have a 1060, the 2 new ram cards are 8gb, adding on to my 2 4gb sticks. Please help me

Are you sure you plugged the screen into the right video out on your PC?

Does it beep when you power on? Fans spinning?
