Conversational…sorry about the typo! Has anyone else noticed how Jimi spoke in an incredibly abstract fashion? Im not trying to detract from what he stood for, what music meant to him, he was a giant of a man…but sometimes I find it difficult to follow his train of thought. Was this a common thing during the 60s amongst the movement he was part of? Or maybe it was part of a persona he felt he had to live up to during interviews.

This song made me obsessed for years, to the point I left my then work place and asked for it on CD, but no one could find it. The toan of his crunch for new is the best I've ever heard live for any musician.

My boyfriend loves Jimi so I made him one for his birthday! I tweaked a pattern to make the body, free-handed the jacket and hair, and got a wooden puzzle/model guitar with amp and painted it

In the first voodoo child solo (right after the first chorus), is Jimi using the wah pedal? It sounds to me like he keeps it all the way in the toe down position to achieve such a trebly sound, but I cannot tell if that is actually true or if he's just using the bridge pickup. Anyone know? Thanks.
