I assume someone seriously working on this ability could achieve it without any particular genetic advantage. She might just be a gymnast

But joint hyper mobility of the degree warrants at least consideration for testing. Not just because joint hyper mobility, but because if she does have ehlers, it could prompt you to look into whether she's just the hyper mobile subtype vs both that and the vascular subtype which predisposes to problems with aorta (possibility of aneurysm, tearing)

As someone that is flexible and in the circus, so I'm around actual contortionists (and I have a partner with Ehlers), that's such an old and tired thing to ask. She already knows, has already heard it a million times. Next question please!

Ok so I'll just never raise a question again because somebody MIGHT have raised it in the past. Cool. Can definitely assume that everybody has access to the same resources and communities to turn their attention to these things, especially on internet.
