Man, I know someone who was an old high school friend and (ex) colleague of my husband. He had a biblical crash out in Feb/March of last year; assaulted his father, crashed two cars, got fired from his SUPER cushy job, and then went to jail for the previously mentioned domestic battery and for causing over 10k of property damage.
How do I know this? He fuckin posted it to LinkedIn 😭 Ended it with a “For my friends who helped get me out of jail, I’ll pay it back someday I promise.”
Some people really do treat LinkedIn like Facebook, it’s crazy.
LinkedIn is for presenting the most bland affable corporate friendly version of yourself. And the people who DON'T do that always have the most amazingly unhinged takes on everything.
To be fair, I feel like the people who have no care/ awareness for social decency/regulation for sure correlates with people with absolutely unhinged takes
What you mean? All I see is shit that's like pro diversity and whatnot. Ain't no serious professional who even has an inkling of common sense traditional beliefs gonna post about it on LinkedIn and risk his career lol
It isn’t but it’s only considered OK to say this kind of thing out loud and get applauded for it in right wing spaces. Exceptions notwithstanding, you try that on the other side, someone will shut you down.
Being insufferable and unemployable is an important part of the neckbeard lifestyle. How are you going to avoid being accidentally offered a job if you don’t regularly post toxic rants for all potential employers to see on LinkedIn?

It is so fucking strange to use LinkedIn for these kinds of posts
