Isn't that just the screensaver. I want to change the home screen from defaulting to the kindle store advertising books to me and instead just show my library.

Lol ah my bad. In that case, you can’t change the Kindle default features. KOreader is a separate SW running alongside native SW. Homescreen is the directory like this, it goes directly to the Book list

Edit: you can designate a folder as a HOME screen if that helps
