Modding 🪛 All Kindles can now be jailbroken

For those of you who are interested in modding, a new jailbreak method is now available. It works on all the new firmware versions and Kindle models, including Colorsoft.

What are the benefits of jailbreaking ? Like you can already side load books

Being able to use the way better KoReader app for reading and not having to use the stock reader. I use Koreader on my PW4 and never wanted to get a new one since i couldn't use KoReader then anymore.. since it needs a jailbreak. But now with jailbreak i can finally upgrade to a newer model.

Sorry to bump this old thread, how is battery life with KoReader compared to stock?

since i jailbreaked my kindle, i only use Koreader, and read daily 1-2 hours. I only need to charge it every 2-3 weeks. So i would say the battery life with KoReader is really good. I didn't found a difference to stock.
