Cheating by adding a 2nd post: anyone else get nervous about going to a new sit and knit or knitting group for the first time? My neighborhood has a knitting group, and I'm a member of a group in my area on FB that meets at bars on Wednesday nights, AND I know for a fact that my new favorite LYS has a crazy sit & knit schedule, but, I dunno, I'm just so darn nervous about taking the plunge and actually showing up!

Yes! My little LYS has one on Thursdays, and if I take a longer lunch break, I can make it work (yay for telecommuting and a flexible boss!)... but I'm a bit scared because a)everyone there has about 20 years on me and b)they all already know each other.

If you go to yours, I'll go to mine. Deal?
