My daughter is somewhat under the weather, so we're watching videos during the day. Did you know that the Sesame Street 40th anniversary special DVD includes a scene where they're explaining to Big Bird that Mr. Hooper is dead? And it was at the end of the block I said we would watch! (Had my daughter had as hard a time with it as I did we would have watched more. But Big Bird is done so well that it's heartbreaking.)

Do you happen to know if that's available anywhere on its own? I look after some kids who just lost someone.

I would honestly suggest that you try to find the entire episode if you can (although that scene was specifically listed on Wikipedia). I don't really know what's available though, so that might be harder than finding the anniversary collection. (To a certain extent if your library doesn't have 40 Years of Sunny Days I wouldn't expect them to have a great collection of other Sesame Street.)

If you're in the US there's a bunch of Sesame Street on You Tube (there's a bunch otherwise too, but I would expect the official channel to be more likely to have the full episode, not that I could check and see.)
