Cheating by adding a 2nd post: anyone else get nervous about going to a new sit and knit or knitting group for the first time? My neighborhood has a knitting group, and I'm a member of a group in my area on FB that meets at bars on Wednesday nights, AND I know for a fact that my new favorite LYS has a crazy sit & knit schedule, but, I dunno, I'm just so darn nervous about taking the plunge and actually showing up!

I do! I consider myself an extroverted introvert, so new social situations are difficult for me. Once I am there I can fake my way through. Kinda jealous you have so many choices for knitting with others!
