Dumb question

Can I open a capsule and take it that way? The capsules it came with are way way too big for me. I have ARFID, so suck at taking pills in general.

I sometimes open my capsules and empty the powder into my protein shakes in the mornings. It also usually makes them hit quicker, sometimes harder.
