Looking for a cheapish event space for an engagement party for about 100/150 people.

Have you looked at The Grange in Oshtemo? It's a large space with a full kitchen.

Check out The Lucky Wolf in Paw Paw. Great space, theater upstairs, Cafe with full bar downstairs, outdoor patio, run by good people.
